The Country Place Mission Statement: To Glorify Jesus Christ as we serve our guests in all aspects and provide quality overnight and conference facilities so that guests will be free from distractions in order to hear the Lord and respond. Vision Statement: The
primary role of The Country Place is to serve our guests as we provide for
the needs that arise during a group's stay, while also offering a quality
facility and
delicious meals. We recognize that everyday life provides enough
distractions and so we want to make every effort to remove any other
diversion. To do this we are committed to three areas: 1)
Service and care for each guest First, we want to serve our guests with gracious hospitality in order that they will feel the love of Christ and will be able to focus Him. Second, we are blessed to be part of a beautiful facility in which the Holy Spirit dwells. As guests are able to relish the experience of being away form the city and in the splendor of the countryside, we want it to be a reflection of God's amazing creation and make every effort to exemplify His handiwork. Third, we recognize the significance of the dining experience and will provide quality meals tailored to the group. Our purpose is to present our ministry with the quality and atmosphere that would delight the King Himself and to serve the guests with the grace and love of Christ in us. Country
Place Ministries Mission Statement: To glorify Jesus Christ as we consider opportunities to draw together the body of Christ to encourage deeper growth in Him and stronger commitment to His divine plan. Vision Statement: We want to be faithful to our first calling which is to maintain The Country Place and keep it to the high standard that has been set through the years. Yet, as we continue to do this, we also have the resources and contacts to offer more. In working with the many groups and individuals who retreat at The Country Place we are able to not only learn a recipe for successful retreat but also gain opportunities to aid the church and encourage the leaders. Through many conversations and much study, we are drawing our focus on two topics that appear to be where the Lord is leading us. The first is that we have ample information to increase our knowledge and understanding of the Bible, and yet we have struggled i transferring this information to the heart. We want the plane events and retreats that will encourage believers to use their hearts in responding to God. In scripture, we are most often drawn to the stories of individuals responding to Christ through the heart and not logical reasoning. While we definitely need aspects of thought and planning in our Christian walk, the present life of Christianity is far too over balanced in this area with little time for crying out and hearing Him speak to our hearts.

broken this ministry into two unofficial groups - The Country Place,
referring to all aspects of group rental, and Country Place Ministries,
referring to all planned activities by the ministry.

are involved in are in direct relation to how God has made us and also
within His design for our lives.
