We hold as a premium that children (and adults) not only find serenity here, but also a place where kids feel the freedom to be children- to laugh and play.  Whether you are canoeing around the lake, hitting a tennis ball, swimming in the pool or walking one of our trails, we are sure that you will find the right balance between rest and play.  Recreational activities at Country Place:

Multiple options is the best way to describe the lodging at The Country Place.  Our cottages have a capacity of over 150 guests in bunk style sleeping and the addition of the Inns with 20 private rooms brings a whole new dimension to our ability to meet the variety of needs of our groups. 

We have 5 Cottages that sleep a total of 96 guests in bunk style sleeping.  It is the perfect place for student & children's ministry.  Each cottages has central heat & air and ceramic tile in the entry way and bathroom.  The entry way & bathroom are in the middle and separate the bunks into 2 sides - 10 beds (5 bunks) on each side.  Each side has carpeted floors, cubbies for clothes, & extra-long  twin size innerspring mattresses.

We also have our Workcrew Quarters attached to the Cedar Grove Conference Center.  While often used by workcrews, they have also been used in a variety of other ways.  These rooms also have central heat & air as well as cermaic tile bathrooms.  There is an upstairs and downstairs that are completely separate.  Each room has 12 beds (6 bunks). They are separate from the cottages but in close proximity.

We also have a Bunk Lodge that is primarily used for small groups (25 or less) and for overflow from the main facility.  The lodge is located across the lake from the main campus (@200 yd walk).  It has a maximum of 34 beds (17 bunks) and 3 bathrooms.  It has central heat & air, hardwood floors, and a full kitchen (for small group use).

Lastly, we have our most recent addition - The Inns at Country Place.  An exciting new addition as the Inns can meet the most particular expectations.  Decorated in a Pottery Barn style, the Inns provide adults a place to go that combines the amenities, quality  and service of a hotel with the atmosphere and comfort of being at home.
