Several years ago Lacey and I began praying about the future of The Country Place and what direction we felt the Lord was leading us into. Over the next 2 years we sensed a calling into family ministry.. It was at that same time that covid made its way into our lives and caused us to slow down and spend a lot of time praying. During that season the Lord continued to confirm our feelings and And increase our desire for family ministry.  In 2021 we worked with Thrive - and specifically Geordy Wells and Bridget Ciaramitaro - gaining a better understanding of what is needed for family ministry in this region. Through many conversations, meetings, research, focus group, and strategic planning we continued to gain a greater understanding of where the Lord was leading us. We also spent time at Pine Cove, a premier family camp located in Tyler Texas soaking in all of their experience and knowledge of family camps.  In 2022 we established a Marriage and Family Ministry Team, raised the initial funds to renovate the cottages and solidified our vision for the future. With the full support of our board, our team in place and renovations underway we are preparing to kick of our new vision with TCP Family Summer Camp 2023! Over these last few years, we have been talking, learning, stratigizing, discussing & formulating exactly how all this information can be used to create the best possible family summer camp! We believe we have combined all our information and created an experience that will give your family an amazing opportunity to make memories, have fun, be refreshed and all of this with Christ at the center! What an incredible time you will have to relax and enjoy your family for a few days at Family Camp!  2023 will be the year to start a family tradition that will change your family forever!
