JEWISH TRADITIONS

Join us for a series of events open to individuals and families eager to experience the traditions of biblical times. There will be activities suitable for all ages, accompanied by food that reflects each occasion. Jewish traditions are an integral part of our Christian heritage, and we aim to honor God's provision as we celebrate the traditional Jewish festivals, all while rejoicing in the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Seder Dinner

The Seder is the traditional Passover meal. It is held every year to celebrate the anniversary of the miraculous exodus from Egyptian slavery more than 3,000 years ago.

April 13th 2025: Jewish Traditions are part of our Christian Heritage. Christ was a Jew who fulfilled the Jewish prophesies of the Old Testament as the Savior who would come. While we know and trust in the Lord as our Savior, we also remember and retell the stories of the Old Testament to our children that they will never forget the goodness of God thru all generations. And so, our desire is to take time to remember God's provision as we celebrate the traditional Jewish festivals While also celebrating the risen Savior - Jesus Christ.

Sukkot

Sukkot is a weeklong Jewish holiday that celebrates the gathering of the harvest and commemorates the miraculous protection God provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt.

Shavuot

Shavuot marks the giving of the Torah on Mt. Sinai. The Ten Commandments are read in synagogues, just as they were in the desert on Mt. Sinai over 3,300 years ago.
