Experience the Stories That Inspired the Songs
Every great song begins with a story, and on Thursday, November 6th, you’ll hear them in their purest form, straight from the artist!
Writers’ Round at The Country Place brings together three incredible songwriters: Hunter Leath, David Ashley Trent, and Nathan Woodard, for an intimate night of live acoustic music, storytelling, and community.
More about the artists:

Raised outside of Memphis, TN in a little town called Rossville. I’ve played music as long as I can remember… and probably drove my parents crazy with my first bright red drum set. Songwriter, Musician, Producer. The dream was to produce songs for artists. Along that journey, I fell in love with the process of writing. Growing up on James Taylor, Don Henley, Billy Joel, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mac McAnally and many others, writing quickly became much more than a hobby, but a passion.

Nathan's impressive resume showcases his talent and dedication to creating uplifting and impactful music. Having over 60 songs recorded, his collaborations with well-known artists and his recognition as a Grammy-nominated songwriter highlight his skill and creativity in the industry. His music has touched the hearts of many and continues to inspire listeners with its powerful messages of faith and hope. Nathan's work is a testament to his passion for creating meaningful music that resonates with audiences worldwide.

David Ashley Trent has been successful in crafting a body of work that is being praised by a growing number of music enthusiasts: contemporary Christian fans who gravitate towards the raw instrumentation of acoustic and electric guitars, and country music fans who crave a lyrical foundation rooted in Biblical scripture.
